8 of 25The app itself is very good. Support is almost non existent. The chat is AI that has no clue. There is no phone support. The only hope of communicating with a human is by email. It cold take days or weeks to get an answer going back and forth by email. Im trying to add to my subscription for a flight tomorrow but ran into an error for which there is no apparent way to fix it. I will end up borrowing charts for tomorrow. I am a very frustrated and unhappy customer.
So I don’t pay the real fee on my iPhone but I’m going to do the trial. See I am very expirianced with this app. I would say I adore this app!!! I am a commercial pilot for Ethiopian and I do my favorite route nyc (KJFK) to adidas abbaba. And when I was with American Airlines I would use it for my jfk to Delhi flight. Cheers.
ForeFlight used to be great and it seems with every new recent update the app runs worse than before. The amount of times the app just bogs down doing anything is increasing, the weather and radar sometimes loads and sometimes doesn’t, and the amount of times I have to refresh a flight plan over and over again because of the “no winds” problem is absurd. At least the perf numbers and EOPs still work
Great app for flying both commercially to watch it as a hobbyist flying privately like myself. But a recent update now makes it almost every time I pinch to zoom on the map instead goes to the measure tool. Is very frustrating and distracting. And I see no option to disable or adjust the settings. I also wish there was a way to set flight history to non pilot so it’s not officially tracked since I like to use it when traveling and not piloting.
I lost a phone and was unable to log into ForeFlight . After numerous attempts with support (email only - terrible ) they just stopped responding ! <br/>I was never able to get back into my account ! Have lost my logbook for the last 6-7 years . <br/>Not a happy customer . <br/>Chuck B
Pretty sad the price continues to increase and synthetic vision can’t be an add on any longer. You have to pay an extra $130 to bump up to the Essential package and don’t use half of the stuff in the package.
This app use to be great; however, it’s been on the decline. I’ve experienced a lot of performance issue within the last 8 months. I’ll be trying Garmin once my ForeFlight subscription expires
Looks like it was bought by PE. That’s usually the peak. App will now prioritize revenue over features customers want. Slowly will hollow out user base until new boutique app pops up to replace it and grows… is bought out by private equity also... and circle of life occurs again.
