I upgraded mine successfully.

There is:
Spyglass, Spyglass Pro, and Spyglass Plus.
If you paid for to upgrade previously to Pro grab the new version, ignore the expired subscription notice, and Restore Purchase in the app’s settings menu. You will have Pro again.
If you had just Spyglass before v3,31 it looks like (ie I may be wrong) the developer is giving you Pro as well, which is generous.
There is also an option to subscribe right now to Plus at a discount for maps and places when offline. The Pro features do not need a Plus subscription.

I really enjoy this app. It’s very cool, has never given me problems, and does what it says. The creator is still maintaining it all these years on and hopefully this transition helps keep it profitable to do so for many more to come.
Great app - but good luck explaining to Country X military/law enforcement why you have an app called “Spyglass” installed and/or open on your phone, unless you just get kicks out of being detained.
Been using this for years. Excellent compass and nav app. Good for long distance shooting as well
This app works very well for a variety of functions. Useful for finding your way day or night. The interface is pretty intuitive, and with some practice, it works very well.

I have also been very pleased with the performance, and the free updates! Thank you!
I paid for Spyglass in 2014 and had full access to all features including augmented reality. Now this feature has been taken away and I’m met with a subscription schedule to use something I’ve already paid for? This has to be illegal.
The complexity of the display and the myriad of features intrigued me. BUT in my day to day world … This app is pretty much useless.
I brag about this app to most everybody in my industry. I work in the Radio Communications field aligning antennas for long distance point point microwave paths. This thing has saved me so much time and headache from the way I used to do it before it’s unbelievable.

Once you wrap your head around the power of this app, you will be amazed. My favorite feature is being able to calibrate my physical position on the earth and fine tuning adjustment using the sun, or a physical way point on cloudy days this gets the accuracy down to minimal error if done correctly.
No subscription I never buy subscriptions to any thing.
An annoying marketing gimmick to fleece buyers of product. The quality will go down the price will go up and eventually you simply give away your money. Marketing the main problem with the modern world everything is designed to be a rip off. No product just marketing. Once was good is now a gimmick. If I could I would give it no stars I can’t seem to take one back.
