8 of 15I was sad to see lumines not for sale in the American app store so I went with this. The controls are slow. There is a pause on load of the next puzzle piece. It's not instant like on lumines. The swipe and tap is not smooth at all and the controls lack a decent flow. The music is average and the backgrounds are ok. But lumines is a play on the word that measures light. There are no light or dynamic effects!! The pace is too slow, the controls are jerky and awkward, and it doesn't feel like an iPhone 4 game. It feels like a blackberry game. I'll eat my words if they fix this but for now, kinda want my $2 back.
Fun and addicting!!! Love this app!!! 5 stars!!! Great graphics and gameplay! Awesome puzzle game!!! One of my favorite games!!! Genius!
Great game. Awesome clone for Lumines! Controls took me a few tries to get used to but work pretty well.
Great game. Very similar to Lexitron, but different style. I prefer this one honestly. one improvement: menu music is *eh*. but in my opinion, 4.5/5, great job!!!!!!!!1
Fairly good Lumines type game. Looks great and the controls arent all that bad. If you alredy have lumines and want a new one or dont want lumines at all but a similar game to it, then this one is just right for you!
If you are a Lumines game fan, you will like this game. Pretty well done. The controls take a little bit to get used to, but work fine.
This is a "should have" app ;) A little bit sensitive but really cool !
This is the farthest thing from a lumines clone it's scarry that people even make the comparison, as I thought people that enjoyed lumines were of a certain mind set. This game looks like it plays like lumines, but there is where it ends. At launch with the horrid controls, lumines was better than this game on its face, if this game had come out maybe 2 years ago, maybe it would be 3 stars. A clone to me is something that not only resembles said original product or etc, but produces the same experiance or function to an almost identical standard of enjoyability or use. A rip off is what I consider to be a developer or etc, that creates something that looks like said original product, but performs or produces in no way or the very least of ways, the use or enjoyment that the original did. And that's what BOL is, a not so cheap, but cheap rip off, of a game that I would be playing right now if they'd upload some more dlc packs already "lumines" if you want something that is a respectable lumines clone, and in many cases far deeper than the lumines version in the app store, try out irides? That might be spelled wrong but it should still come up in the engine. But, if like me if you just have a jones for more lumines packs and are just looking for a fix where you can find one, you won't find one here.
