8 of 25The app is awesome! I only have a few issues with it... Usually the only time it crashes is when I get a call or text while mixing. I can do the call/text and still come back to the app and continue with the tracks currently loaded but as soon as I go to load another track is when there is a crash. Needs more effects and better scratch sound as well. Also the auto bpm finder is wrong a lot so a button to tap out the tempo would be REALLY nice. Lastly, its cool that you offer tracks with the download so people can mix right away but dont force it on them... There should be a way for me to delete those tracks because I never use them or listen to them.
Besides all that I still rate this app 5 stars! It is still a very awesome app if you like mixing music. Grab it while it is still only $10!
I love this app. It's easy to use and great for just playing around for ideas. Sadly my ideas are being limited to tracks that came with the app. When I download one of my tracks and put in a bpm, it still only registers as a ??? In the mixer. I also would love to see color-blind support. I can tell the difference in the blue and pink, but as far as the track itself looks all the same.

So: fix bpm issue
Get colorblind support
Pague 20 $ y ahora no suena deben de actualizarlo parA IOS 5 rápido
TAP DJ 1.99...WOW
good app. it would rlly help if they added a manual way of determining the BPM becaus the auto isnt very accurate
No matter what i try i can't get the app on my phone...even got a new iphone 4 and it won't work
man oh man.. I forgot how awesome and revolutionary this app is. trimming loops to perfection... being able to pinch loops to match bpm.. visual mixing really works. Toyo you're a genius you just need some help to fine tune all these amazing apps for all the myriad of idevices. Looking back, I wish I would have kept my second gen iPod with touch dj 1.x on it untouched.. preserved as a self contained dj system. The current version on my current 4th gen iPod crashes on track load sometimes.. but it does multitask.. I had two uber tight loops synced to a multitasking metronome while browsing engadet.. that's pretty cool!

Update: app works flawlessly on my 3rd gen iPod. Ios4 is NOT for 2nd gen iPods, period. Downgrade-- I had to downgrade two daughters 2nd gens for dozens of apps. If your running ios4 on 3G iPhone or 2nd gen iPod, be prepared for issues in many apps.

Thanks for getting things going for full ios4 users. A two hour session last night reminded of how superior this app is.. I really dig cue dj also, but touch dj gives me the manual control over loops and waveform that I crave. I'd love to see some additional features, but for old school dudes this is all you need.

Original review:
This app just killed the tonium pacemaker! Just need flange and delay to put the nail in the coffin. Works amazingly well on both my 2nd gen touch and 1st gen iPhone. (I can no longer confirm this, will test though)

You know it would be uber sweet to cue in the headphones and final mix out via Bluetooth.. Just dreaming there I'm sure.

The scratching is unique-- after an hour or two with it I'm producing a very interesting sound. It's accurate and latency free-- enabling you to refine the moves to cut, chop, chew and screw. I've been using Flare turntablism app so a little spoiled by it's near perfect turntable simulation-- the wave play here differs but is quite tasty for what it is.

This is a must- purchase app what any other mix tool aspired to be.
I can't even try the app with my own music since the "load" button is greyed out. When I try it on the other side the app crashes. Way too unstable. Can you imagine mixing for a club of 1000 people and your DJ app crashes? What a disaster!
