Fun and cool-looking!

by jeromerkelly · September 29, 2009

What I like about this game is how cool it looks: it is easy to learn but looks like a game from a galaxy far, far away...! It needs a pause button or a quit button or something... You feel locked in to an hour or more of playing because of the lack of basic optipns. But I highly recommend the game anyway!

1.1 is much better

For all those who mentioned the performance issues, the updated version runs smooth as silk on a 3GS. Not sure about earlier iPhones.

So this is flash on the iPhone?

The game looks good, but it is unresponsive and the graphics are choppy at best. Not the same game I saw in the Adobe Labs video.

ehh...

it's very laggy and really not that fun.

not really interesting..

Weak proof of concept

by Ed Wild · October 6, 2009

This was the definitely the weakest proof of concept that iPhone apps can be developed in Flash. This has to be the slowest and most unresponsive application on my phone. Should have been free since it doesn't work as expected. Startup time is 20 seconds.

Definitely promising

Really impressed with the fact that this was originally developed in AS3. I can't wait to get my hands on Flash CS5.

The game itself is pretty serviceable. Addicting with a great presentation. The only sticking point (and this might be an inherent problem originating from the development environment) are the controls. Can't rotate an object with a clockwise gesture? Really? I hope the platform allows us to utilize complex gestures or these Flash-developed games might stand no chance against truly native applications.

Version before was more accurate

For a flash port, it's good, but your fundamental gesture controls are not rotating the cubes and triangles properly!! Your angle calculations are off but were correct in the first version! This is simple testing folks. At least prove us flash developers can produce a decent CS5 example since the rest of us don't get to till the final release!!!
