Having an issue with the search feature

by C-P 9 · July 21, 2016

I am a student with PivotPoint. My classmates have the app and seem to have no trouble searching for that, but when I search anything, it does nothing. I have checked the permissions and all of it seems fine. My iOS version is 9.3.2. Any help with this would be appreciated.

If you used the orientation of the device (accelerometer) to switch between map mode and camera mode it would be good.

Great for Cities

What makes Wikitude unique is the way it represents the information to the user, and quite possibly could be to the future of GPS interfaces. The interface on this app allows for figuring out directions and orientations when in a big city far easier than that of a traditional GPS, which can oftentimes be slightly misleading. Simply holding up your device like a camera and looking at the screen, Wikitude can place the locations, events, etc. of your query in their respective places on the screen. If you're unimpressed with what's over there, simply spin a little to the side and keep looking! Of course it will work in smaller towns, as it seems to get a lot of its information Google places, but the more information to work with the better. There are a few usability issues, especially within the user interface for browsing the options of a search (but recently they have been making drastic updates to this). Also, the search function should be updated to allow for more refined queries and allow selection of the databases you wish to pull information from. This app has a lot of potential and is, in my opinion, a fantastic tool to have on a bustling city street.

Still can't log in to Facebook... This app is getting deleted soon if the problem doesn't get fixed.

An idea

If you could add a way that I could view the app in stereoscopic 3D and this would be perfect and actually something I have dreamed about for years.

Doesn't work yet

The only thing returned following a search command is an error message. I'm operating an iPad mini 2, with most current op sys.

Test Run is great.

Haven't tried it walking around yet, but just messing with it in my apartment has been awesome. Great app.
