Started using again for security TLS and pipelining which are not evident in iOS mail app. Lots to configure, however the configuration of sounds is limited to only the sound for a received email and that sound does not always work. Would like to change send sound also.

Having tested many email apps - mostly out of intellectual curiosity - none has come close to the many faceted utility and efficiency of AltaMail. <br/><br/>If email management is important to you, I recommend you review trust the description enough to give this app a solid try and easily learn how to, based upon easily defined criteria, to auto-delete, auto-flag, auto-file, have complex searches (which you can save for auto searching) for many potential criteria how to create customize alerts, and how to quickly delete hundreds of unwanted or outdated emails. The capability of his app far exceeds that of most desktop email clients. <br/><br/>Excellent responsive technical support which I contacted a few times through the years. <br/><br/>Updates are solid and kept current as this is a well supported app.

Best app for the iPhone, it ables mass email inbox file deletes. Plus you can configure file settings.

I've used many email apps. This is the most versatile and powerful I've used. Congrats on a great product! I use it every day.

The rules help so much. Also the mail move, search functionality and deleting emails from the source systems. Would miss it if it was gone.

Yes, the app can be challenging for a new user that is why support is outstanding. When an user has a problem, they can pose a question to support and get answers to app related issues. <br/><br/>After getting by the rough spots with setup, one will not need help with issues because your personal knowledge base will allow you to solve your issues!

I have tried really hard to like this email program, but it has so many quirks and such a non- intuitive way of doing things that I am finally going to delete it and go back to outlook. <br/>I cannot mark a mail as spam and have it automatically make a rule, my inbox is inundated with crap that I have to delete every day. <br/>If I try to delete a mail from the main view that has other mails in a thread, it asks if I want to delete all mails in the thread. <br/>There are two answers. Yes or ignore. Ignore deletes nothing not even the mail I want to delete. Yes deletes all mail. I know I can go to the mail itself, hunt for the insanely small trash bin and delete an individual mail, but I don’t want to do that every time, and generally there are some mails in a thread I want to keep, if I wanted to delete them I would! <br/>It seems to me that this app needs a thorough overhaul, the menus are bitty, and some functions are really hard to find. <br/>It has a lot of good points, but after 6 months of use, and writing to support a few times, I realize that the hard things to fix will not be fixed. So goodbye altamail. I hope you get better in the future and then maybe I will download and try again.
