Mediocre at best

When i got this app, i was looking for something to allow me to use my iPhone to remotely control my iPod, which sits on a dock. It does this--barely. Here are my issues with it:
1) the layout. It's ugly to look at, the prized "personalization" does not work, and the controls/options are not sensibly arranged at all
2) the functionality. Sure, after lots of fiddling, dealing with crashes and difficult-to-find settings, my devices paired. Even then though, all i can do is play/pause and go to prev/next. The cheap IR remote that came woth the dock can do more than that! To pick a song specifically, i have to go to the iPod and play it in the music app, then return to the iBrr app. Also, upon skipping a song, the controller side takes a long time to update and show what song it's playing, sometimes even showing a completely random song instead!
So overall, i'll use it now and then when i have a good playlist i just want to play and skip through. It isn't even worth .99 though, and the only reason to get it is if you absolutely need that functionality since no other app offers it
