I want my money back. Since EA sports got ahold of this nothing works. Program has been off line for s month now and continually crashes. Courses won't upload correctly and restore doesn't work at all. This is trash and robbery of your money. P. S it was a great great app before EA

Triple Bogey

This is the first review I've ever written for an app and it is only because this app is total crap! If I could have given it zero stars I would have. It hasn't loaded up once without crashing since I got it! What a total waste of time and money for something that looks like it could be a great app. Come on EA! Spring is right around the corner and golfing season is almost here- why don't you release an update that fixes this trainwreck of an app before the summer months come & go?!

Well made

Haven't tried it on the course yet but I have messed around with it a lot. The ability to create your own course is awesome if your course doesn't exist online yet. The interface is very nice and the price is reasonable. Will send another review after I try it out on the course.

almost bought golfshot but...

by jonpaultee · October 23, 2009

i saw this on the itunes staff pick and decided to give it a shot instead. on first impressions i've found it useful, and i like that it backs up my scorecards to the tee shot live community. to be fair though, the interface isn't as nice as golfshot's, but when you're on the course most of those bells in whistles just get in the way... it's like all those expensive golf gadgets that we buy and end up never using. :)

Significant regressions

by MarkTheManiac · March 7, 2010

I am very disappointed in this latest update - have been a long time & satisfied TeeShot user but not now.

The current version (2.0.25) is a significant regression from the 2.0 version last fall.
o Cannot view GPS accuracy
o Cannot view distance to green while walking
o For shot by shot measurements - must record GPS location on two different screens
o GPS view shows Atlantic Ocean when showing shot details if a shot does not have a recorded location (at least it doesn't crash)
o Upload to web site does not show GPS locations (an old problem but still unresolved months later)
The user forum seems to be ignored by the support staff as well.

If you want to do shot by shot records of your rounds - I suggest you look somewhere else. This application is too slow and distracts from playing golf. If you want to record # of shots, simple stats - perhaps it is for you.

Perhaps EA will get the message to fix the application.
Great Ideal Great Look --- Just doesn

Tried to update Course and application would allow it. Long process I got to try multiple times. Worked great until EA Sports got their hands on it. Support is useless. I want my $9.99 back.

Great App till EA took over!

by gavwizz · February 12, 2010

It wasn't perfect before EA took over but at least it worked as described. It cost me $10 to upgrade even though i owned Teeshot 1.74. The courses that were uploaded to server on the original App are all gone and cannot be downloaded. I've got almost 2 years worth of stats in the old App which cannot be migrated to new App, EA have not responded to two emails on this issue. The last issue is probably the biggest for me. It's a shame, I've always liked EA and I expected a lot more from them, very dissapointing. Don't waste your money on Apps that don't support the loyal user. If they'd offer me a refund I'd take it.

Looks like it will rock someday but crashes and closes
