Useful app

by PamaKane · December 19, 2011

The people who give bad reviews are obviously non-plants-people. They don't know or understand the app's intended use, which is to keep track of the plants in the owner's care and gives the owner the freedom to create his or her own database of THEIR OWN plants, which is very nice. I find it to be useful.

A couple features I'd like to see added to future updates are:
-Seasonal scheduling of watering and feeding. Plants cycle through growing, flowering, and dormancy periods, which means different feeding and watering needs for different periods.
-Ability to enter minimum temperature tolerances either via hardiness zones or temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit.

I look forward to the future enhancements like blooming, planting, and pruning schedules; ability to download plant data from sources online, which would definitely simplify the entering of plant data.

Sucky app

Just a fancy poorly featured todo

by Jason Wendling · March 23, 2010

The app listing suggests that one can start a garden list and keep track of all the plants in the garden.

The reality is that this is a todo app with fields already defined for watering and feeding ONLY.

Rather than have a large database of plants, the app required one to enter all the details. The app's listing makes it look more full featured than it is.

Don't buy.

Idea is great, but needs a lot of work

I just spent over an hour putting in plants and taking pictures, etc. (since the database is so small I had to enter them all manually). I just opened it again and all my data is gone--reverted back to the demo info that was there originally. That makes this app worthless. How can I get a refund?

Not at all like the description

I purchased this app to find out more about my common plants. This app doesn't even have gardenias, crotons, African iris, oleanders, society garlic, dracaenas, etc..... I want a refund.

Needs work

Needs a bigger library, swipe delete function...just downloaded it so that's just my first impression.

What is this?

Very poor app. I like the feel and look of the app but first there is now library. I had to look up all the info on my plants. Then After I had all of them in with schedualed feeding and watering guide I just set back and waited. Nothing happened! I opened the app to make sure I set it all up and that's when it told me I had plants to water. This app isn't even worth a $ right now. If update do come I would like to see an expanded database and push notification of needed watering, feeding times! I will review again if those changes come!
