iSteak

I've been using the stop watch on the iPhone to time steaks - this app is orders of magnitude better than my approach. Great reference and great tool for cooking for large groups. A few thoughts:<br/><br/>1. Add other items (burgers, chicken, etc)<br/><br/>2. If I've got 2 steaks that need to cook at different temps, show me that visually on the grill screen. For example, all steaks that need to cook at medium heat be shown on the left.

Pretty goid app but I didn't know until I had the grill going that this doesn't run I'm the background. All my timers died.<br/><br/>I switched to GrillStar, it's awesome. Backgrounds and allows many items not just steaks.

This has to be the best BBQ application available! Highly recommend! Superb for parties!

This is a great little app to have when you are cooking steaks for few different people all with different steak preferences. This app did a good job with the timing and the alerts and was a snap to set up. All of the steaks were a little less done than like which is probably a calibration problem between your grill and ours as well as our understanding of what medium and well done is compared to others. A great add would a quick question at the end for each persons steak as to how well it was or wasn't done. The app can then self calibrate for personal preference and grill temp.... Shouldn't be that tough to add that feature and it would make it really effective for more people.

Needs to be able to run in background since it's nice to check email and what not while waiting for steaks. It would also be nice to be able to tweak cook times. Times are way off too. Overcooks everything.

The first time I tried it I loved it. But I think the timing is a little long. Other than that it's great!<br/><br/>I love steaks!

This is a great app for cooking steak, but there are a few things it needs:<br/><br/>1. Have fire or glowing coals in the grill-- these steaks just sit on a grill that's off. <br/>2. Resume your grilling if you leave the app and come back later- right now you lose your steaks and the timers<br/>3. Make the steaks drop where you point to on the grill; they don't want to stay where you move them<br/>4. Offer ounces, not just inches<br/>5. Make the size of your steak reflect the steak's size that's on the grill<br/><br/>It's a great app!

This turns out the best steaks!!
