it sounds like static from an old TV, not clicking from a rad meter. not sure how it would fool anyone.
Not very real but I guess it will work on some idiots.
It seems to go up whenever you put it near something warm/hot, like your arm pits.

This is well executed and amusing. Of course it's pointless, but that's fine, it's still amusing. Moreover, there are many ways you can fool people by "detecting" something or other. I really like it.
