It's pretty good.But when you zoom in it's blurry.
5 star app if the dev can add a TTF(tap to focus) feature to make picture quality better. I'd pay $3 for a working zoom app for the camera/video camera w/ TTF.
This is an ok app, used for some time. Now switched to A+ Camera Zoom, which has more features.

It's a good digital zoom. Magnification is about 2.5X -- not bad and certainly usable. The app interpolates like some of the premium zoom apps do instead of simply in-app cropping. At full zoom, images came out at 1200 x 1600 on my 2G. Image quality is decent. A good alternative if you don't want to drop the cash for one of the premium digital zoom apps. =M=
Well this is the first app for my iPhone that claims digital zoom and doesn't simply crop the image and leave it at the smaller size JPG. It actually enlarges the cropped photo to the native size of my phone which is what I would expect from any 'digital zoom' feature. Sadly all the other apps I've tried so far don't do this for some reason. My issue with this app (Free Zoom) is that the interface s_cks. There's no tap to focus like I would expect on my 3Gs and most other camera apps have some other features such as (fake) flash, claimed image stabilization, timer etc... Free Zoom has nothing. Also it runs really slow. Much slower than all the other camera apps I've tried. But I give these guys credit for implementing the digital zoom properly.
