8 of 25Work awesome on my iPad, but a little small on iPhone but good when you have nothing. Way better that hand clap
Music video mode has a bug that makes it useless with this update. It's been over a month and there has been no fix. I wrote tech support twice and they confirmed it is a bug and will be fixed with the next update. But I have not seen an update for a long time.
It does so much. And works so well. If you add a stable TC source this app rivals a real smart slate.
I'm in the habit one of using this app on every production I do, large or small. It makes logging and syncing footage a breeze. I've used this now several times for music videos and the option to produce time code based on any song in your iTunes library is a great feature. I've tried several other lower priced clapper board options in the App Store and this one beats them all hands down. The only thing that makes this hand to use under certain conditions is not a fault of the app but rather the iPad. Sometimes glare on the screen can interfere with properly logging footage.
This is a solid app with truly great -- and speedy -- support. I've had only one issue with downloading an update and their support responded within minutes with a solution. You can't do better than that.
I was using this app for sound reports in 2012, but as of the latest version, the sound report plugin doesn't seem to work at all. When I try to roll a take, it doesn't let me, saying that I haven't entered Production, Scene, and Take, even though I have.
For what i paid for this app there should be an update. I’d say don’t download but you can’t anyway. Please update!!
This app has been great, last update when the orientation is in landscape and locked it is cutoff at bottom of screen is ios6 on iphone 5/5s (which is our current platform at our production office). Also a option to lock the top clapper bar so it does not scroll, sometimes when our PAs hit it for the clap it slides off.
