This app is an excellent way to show customers how their data is actually stored. The app works as advertised. 5* from me.

This is the best app I've downloaded to date. Extremely helpful, well made, and free to boot. The slideshow was great. Thank you drivesavers!

Super tool!

Does a fine job of illustrating the mechanical and electrical inner-workings of an HDD when the unthinkable happens. Moreover, it's a neat tool for informally discussing data protection & recovery needs with my customers; eliminates the need to pull out a formal powerpoint or leave-behind!

Far above what I expected

The iPhone module alone is worth the free download. Chipset clusters are clearly identified and the data storage differences between SSD, HDD, and Raid, couldn’t have been more clear.

I would love to see improvements to the liquid and physical damage simulations. I think people would understand why liquid damage is so destructive to device hardware with better hardware.

Great app and worth the download

This is absolutely the best way to educate your customers about hard drive failures. DriveSaver helps your customer understand what has happened when a drive failure occurs... and may convince those who haven't lost a drive to start backing up their data before they do! The simulation is dead on - graphics, sounds, even drive vibration are accurately reproduced - your customers may even exclaim "that's exactly what it sounded like!"
