8 of 19I like it great random facts. Certain cards like the elements would of been nice for Chemistry class review. Takes some getting use to maybe a help page on the features inside of the app would of helped
This app has a very original and very gorgeous user interface. The cards and background are pleasing to the eye, and feel really polished, unlike some other apps that are similar. The cards are packed with useful information and fun facts, and quizzing yourself is a joy. The app is easy to use, but it could do with a short little instructions screen for people (like me) who can't quite figure it out at first. <br/><br/>Hopefully in the future this app will add the ability to add your own sets, and give an option for scoring yourself and re-quizzing based on cards you got wrong (with a few you got right thrown in). With those features, I'd give it 5 stars. <br/><br/>Overall, a very good looking and easy to use app, and the promise of more to come is exciting.
This is a fun app. It is full of trivia information that is fun to remind yourself of and test others. I had fun testing my husbands knowledge of comics. It is easy to use and very well executed. It is an excellent app.
What a great and practical application. So much entertainment on the iPhone and with iPhone Applications, now there is a simple (anyone can use) application that takes the old training tool to the masses. While available for entertainment, this application can be used for educational purposes and I could see it becoming more. I highly recommend it.
I'm glad I've found this app. Its content is very useful and loads of fun. It easily replaced at least 5 other apps on my iPhone. I can't stop going through each single stack. This app is a great learning tool and definitely worth
It has a great look and feel, but it really should support in-app card/stack creation, or at the very least an iPhone optimized web-interface.
Pros: <br/>Clean interface<br/>Comes with a plethora of decks covering a myriad of topics<br/>Card creationg via web app works seamlessly<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>For best results, one sentence content limitation for either side of the "card"<br/>Substantial screen real estate ends up unused to accomodate word limitation<br/>No sounds embedded or "iPod Accessible" to enable background music to play while studying<br/>Cannot make edits to content within the app<br/>Can't delete bundled decks (most of which are not needed for my line of work)<br/>Doesn't work for offline viewing<br/>Needs to be optimized for the iPad 2
Cons:<br/>Takes longer to make than a papercard<br/>No option to randomly sort<br/>Inserting pics is time consuming<br/>No options, just the cards<br/>Included cards are largely useless and cannot be deleted<br/>Basically not as good as pen and paper
