Better Options

App is really ambiguous and overpriced for what it does.

Great App

by Byrdmanlk · November 16, 2010

I read the other reviews on this app and I have no idea why people are slamming this developer. This is a great app great instructions and if you email the developer he will help you our the same day. This app is a must for anyone with a Mac and an iPhone. Apple should include this in the Ios.

I don't know how much I'd use it

by Matt Finnish · May 20, 2011

Seems OK. I don't know that I'd use it all that much. If it could send to OTHER computers besides my own, it would be much more useful. If it could send to Windows machines, that would amp up the usefulness. I could see using it to share with family, friends and co-workers. If I want to dump from my phone to my Mac, I'll do it with the cable attached and import into Lightroom. I suppose if I wanted to transfer something very quickly to send to someone, this might be the way to go, but I don't think that's ever come up for me. The fact the the app changes the file name so drastically bugs me, too.

Beware! Developer has disappeared!

by Ivanova33 · November 7, 2011

bought this, cannot understand how to use it, I mean, what do I type for Mac Name and Mac password? tried all I could think of but to no avail. Emailed the developer, no answer. Now, the links here to both the website and support are dead, and the developer is not responding to email! Apple, you screwed me on this, I want my money back...

Send images from your iOS device to your Time Capsule!

by jschau · February 10, 2013

Now I can transfer images from either my iPhone or iPad to my Time Capsule as long as it is on my network regardless of whether my iMac booted up. Really nice considering my work habits. I did need to rollback from Time Capsule update 7.6.3 to 7.6.1. But in doing so my overall Time Capsule transfer rate increased from 270 Mb/s to 450 Mb/s.

This app is truly awesome!

I have tried several apps to move stuff to my Mac from iPhone and this one is by far the best.

Revised Review... Don't think it saves full res

by RoseCat · August 15, 2011

I had given this app 5 stars because it was so easy to use, quick & convenient.

I'm changing my review to 2 stars because I don't think it saves photos in full res! 

I happened to transfer a photo to my computer twice by mistake: once using Scotty & once by emailing it to myself. The Scotty version was a much smaller file!

This is unacceptable in a photo transfer app so I'm deleting it from my phone & have just downloaded PhotoTransfer.

App doesn't work

by Tiger Audio · August 7, 2013

App does not connect to time capsule no matter what I do. I even changed the TC set up. Always returns an error that the user and pass are incorrect. I have the latest brand new 3TB time capsule. I did manage to connect to my MAC. App does not allow viewing of pictures on the MAC. It only wants to transfer files from my camera roll to the mac. I want to do the exact opposite. I actually would like to view the pictures on the TC and also download some of them to my camera roll as I see fit. Other than not working the app is fine.
