Story: After being trained by the ancient fathers known only as The Order, Vincent began his life as a vampire hunter. His deep hatred for the blood-sucking scourge grew exponentially after his bride was brutally murdered. Vincent’s anger grew and the destruction that lay in his wake brought him to the attention of Valafar, the evil Vampire leader.
Valafar, The highest of the Vampire Lords challenged Vincent to dual. Valafar was too strong and upon loosing the fight and being cast into the depths of the underworld. Only the memory of his fallen bride remained with Vincent, now a shadow of his former self.
Driven by revenge, Vincent now returns to the mortal realm to bring war to the plague of vampires that had infested or destroyed all that was good in the world.

8 of 25Finally! Just what I was looking for! The character of Vincent is basically Van Helsing but I still thought this was the best game I've ever bought on my iPod. I hope the sequel's already out.
At first I wasn't sure but for the price I took a chance. The game feels like the old Van Helsing game for the ps2, the character even looks like him too. Which isn't bad, if you like that style of game play and level design. The sword play, though as the player, we don't do too much in moving the character. Just swipe our fingers at certain times, during these boss battles. Its visually nice just to watch the action unfold. As for the difficulty, theres two modes. I only tried the normal and was able to beat it only using the normal gun you start with. But there are some challenging areas and puzzles, but overall its enough for any gamer to get into and not feel frustrated by it. Only downside I felt was really was just like one other reviewer stated, the game ends abruptly. The story, which I have to say is very well done builds up about this one vampire and it ends suddenly with never going so far to get face to face with it. Hopefully there's a sequel or and update to continue the story, I was really getting into it! 5 stars overall, worth the 99 cents!

Definitely worth the money. Enjoyed playing, but just wish it was longer.
I hate incomplete games like Shan mu where the author of the games just give up and they don't continue anything and it says to be continued where paying Hardmoney for their games and deserves to have a full game if the author isn't working on another game or a continuation we should be refunded at least get 50% of our money back if not he should be working on another game Or just make another revision that has an ending its been way too long which to me looks like he gave up ill change my rating when it's complete

I really like this game, one of the better ones I've played on my iPod. The only downside in my opinion is it was too short. I was really getting into it and the next thing I know it was over
