I tried to open the app and it instantly crashes
For the last few weeks it won’t allow one to play the dealt hand and it keeps repeating the same hands over and over! Now exploring other bridge apps , happy with this in the past but no more!
Every time you guys update...I lose the choose option. So I can’t play selected hands...for example...slam,partials etc. But they do ask me to buy an updated version. Calls to customer service are useless.
Best bridge app of its kind. Latest update seem to have quashed bugs that were making the use of the program very frustrating.
Update: The good news is that another update was released that solved the hot phone issue. The bad news is that every time I start the app, it reverts to hand #1 and I continually play the same hands over and over. Sigh! Now I’m getting a message asking me to pay $20 for a new app. I paid around $25 for this app two years ago. Their track record hasn’t been so good! —————- I downloaded Bridge Baron version 5 today. There were some changes, and at first, I thought they were fine. But after playing about 20 minutes my phone got really hot. The battery went down faster than normal as well. It hasn’t done that before. I quit the game, let it cool, and am now back to answering email, surfing the web, etc. No overheating now. Version 4 never did this—very disappointed. So sorry I updated.
Updated my app hoping with new version, games would load more easily. Answer NO! And the stupid ad for the 35th Anniversary edition keeps popping up! Why would I purchase this if I can’t get the regular version to load properly? Once you do get to a game it’s good but getting there is frustrating.
This game is fun, but I had trouble with iBridge Baron (purchased it in 2011) on both my iPad and my iPhone, so it must have been an issue with the app itself. However, after multiple phone calls and emails, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE from Great Games Products responded. The game kept crashing on both devices, so I bought the Bridge Baron Gold app (brand new). All of the sudden, the old iBridge Baron I purchased in 2011 started working just fine. Now I have purchased 2 of the same games for $40 total. I thought it was an updated version, but no, it is exactly the same. Again, NO ONE from customer service has ever responded to my phone calls or my emails. Very disappointing.
