8 of 25I am a physician. I have been in medical school/residency for 10 years. This app has seen me through much of my studying. I tried anki but it just didn't work for me.

What I like about this app is that it allows lots of personalization. I can text to speech, add photos from the internet straight from the app, use spaced repetition with lots of adjustments, multiple sided cards for harder topics, search my whole deck with the workaround, backup my decks.

The developer is very responsive. I remember having a question when I started using the app a long time ago and was answered immediately.

I'll probably be using this for the rest of my career to keep up with the knowledge. Thanks for a great stable app!
Customizing my own flash cards in a specific folder / category is the most useful. However, the reason for it being "almost" perfect is because there needs to be an option where a list of cards / vocabularies can be seen without having to press edit in case of creating duplicates and just scroll to see which vocab needs to be reviewed.
WASTE OF MONEY.
Hi
Please make the flashcard app available on apple watch
Simple to the point
I haven’t even used this app yet but just for the sole reason that there’s only a one-time payment, I’m going to give it 5 stars. This subscription frenzy needs to end. Apps like this should never ever make you pay for a subscription. The only way these companies will stop charging us subscriptions is if we stop paying for them.

Edit: well I used it for a few minutes and already found a problem and had to change my rating. I got this app specifically to make cards for computer coding. For example, I need a card that says on one side and then has the definition for that symbol on the other side. However, when you put a word anything inside of those symbols, it won’t appear on the card. Please fix this.
7/2024: The latest update has the following bug, when downloading TTS from two different sources the same voice plays in some instances the same voices. Also, the other requests that I asked for last year were not addressed!

7/2023: Why did the app developer limit the text-to-speech to 3 Voices from 5 (five voices)?!?! Also, the background audio feature has still not been included. If the developer does not know how to add this feature, ChatGPT could help with the implementation. Many apps have this as a standard feature. So, when I listen to the text-to-speech cards, I could close the screen and the app will continue playback.

Otherwise, this app is perfect and the developer is a genius for including so many clever functions!!! Thanks!
I have used this app to study Arabic and Polish to full fluency. It is by far my favorite app in terms of power and simplicity. It’s great as it is but I’d love to see more cloud options to facilitate multi-device use.
