8 of 25The title says it all. This use to work flawlessly, but since the most recent update all files says invalid. This also brings up a "flaw" in the iTunes store. You can't revert back to another version.
Like everyone else says, it just stopped working. Im deleting it and trying to find anything else. Will never look at an app from this company again
I used to be a fan of air video. With their new updates the app crashes more than I can watch 3 seconds of a video. This is not worth having on my phone, iPad and MacBook anymore. Please listening to your customers fix the issues. Crashes, buffering ect.... I have the highest speed internet access and everything works perfect on wifi except your app.
This app used to be awesome, now it hardly works. It's always crashing at the end of a show and says its "looking for the server PIN". It doesn't matter if it's 3G or 4G or WIFI. I use wifi while on the job and I still have the same issues. Wish I could use Plex but it's almost as bad. I just bought Air Media Server and so far it seems to work. Wonder how long though before it too stops working as advertised.
And the app developer has the gall to urge you to buy his new paid "Air Video HD" app instead of his old, broken one, which I paid $2.99 for. Who does that to people? This is a switch-and-bait tactic. I can't believe Apple allows this kind of sleazy behavior. By permitting this, Apple is encouraging developers to abandon updates for their previous apps and just release a new 2.0 version that you have to pay for a second time.
Have tried everything set it up as it said, went to Easter brunch at moms and it didn't work at all am so frustrated I'd love to be able watch movies that are at my house through the internet just am very disappointed bout this app after everything I had heard bout n how cool it was doesn't like Iphone 5s
We were watching a 2 hour movie and it crashed over 20 times. Totally worthless now. It work great for so many years.
I went on-again-off-again for a couple of years. For the longest while, I went to Plex but that ended when their iOS app didn’t event launch (Dec 2013). Compared to Plex, its fast and reliable for me. I don’t have the problems that folks are talking about here. My one feature that I’d like is the ability to group folders on different disks under one category. Plex can do this but it has too many problems for me.
