HexaGo is a game about control of territory, played on a board made of hexagons. Two players struggle over the control of the board, one with the green pieces, the other with the blue ones.

The rules are the same as in the famous old game Hexxagon, but the wide variety of boards and the evil A.I. makes this game much more challenging.

In its turn, a player chooses one piece of its color, then chooses an empty hexagon which is maximum two hexes away from the original, and moves there. When moving to a hexagon, the pieces of the opposing color surrounding it will become the player's own color. When a player moves right next to the selected piece, the original piece will duplicate. When moving further the original piece will jump to its new position, leaving its place empty.

There are two, selectable endgame styles which require different strategies to win: - Loose endgame: the winner is the one with the more pieces when a player cannot move anywhere anymore - Strict endgame: when a player cannot move anywhere anymore, the other player will occupy all the remaining empty hexes, and the winner is the one with the more pieces after this

Check out the HexaGo home page for detailed and illustrated step-by-step instructions on how to play the game! FEATURES:

- Play against a friend or the computer, or watch the computer play against itself - Choose between 5 levels of artificial intelligence when playing against the computer - Play on 14 boards, each with a unique twist requiring different strategies - Use the hints to learn the game - Resume the game where you left off if you get a call or want to pause playing - Create Your own boards with the integrated level editor

I used to play Hexxagon on DOS and this game goes an awesome job of recreating it. Thanks for bringing it to iOS.

Definitely a must have!

This is a good game. I hope to see a universal app update so the game is formatted for the upcoming iPad. This is a good game but... the paid version doesn't seem to offer alot more than the lite version. I would be excited about an updated that contained many more boards to play on and/or the ability to play some one through the internet.

Fun but

Fun but it would be cool to see a 1v1v1v1

I Love It!

It has several options for difficulty and levels, and even lets you make your own. I love playing the computer and it's even more fun with friends. And since it is a turn based game, we can play it anywhere and not have a problem with "not paying attention" to whatever we're supposed to be doing. It's just like a strategy warfare game, and I can't get enough of it!

Cool game!!!!
