We used this app to get around Berlin during a trip there last week. It took a little time to figure out--notably the pull-down slider at the top of the map that gives you stop-by-stop instructions (including exactly which train to get on). Using this app was much simpler than trying to figure out the map at the train station!
The title says it. Unlike many other transit apps, this one works off data resident in the iPhone. I have not yet been to Berlin, so I don't know how important it is that the data is from 13 months ago. I looked at lots of free Berlin apps, and this one really stands out.
April 2009 Map!!! Be careful.
It gave me FALSE INFORMATION. I was on my way to Schönefeld and trying to transfer from the U2 to the R9 as this app told me. Found out I was MISINFORMED. That transfer DOES NOT EXIST. Other than that one time the app has been pretty good.
Made planning a trip across Berlin a breeze. Often suggested a route that I would not have otherwise thought to take. Ended up saving me time when on vacation is what matters most. Found some map locations were a little off, but when combined with an offline map made navigating the big city a breeze.

Suggestion to developer: Can you add tram and bus routes?
Is free and work really good but some times is dificult to see the info of a station and the map only have 2 optionsof size (small and big).
