This app is simply amazing. The meditations are well done and the mantras are simply beautiful. Now, for those lamenting that it needs to progress through all the chakras-it can; you can even choose specific chakras and the number of cycles it plays. Go to setup (the last icon), check off the chakras you want to work with and then choose how many cycles you want it to go through. Now this is the important part: when you get ready to start the cycle touch the play icon near the figure's right hand instead of the first chakra. It will cycle through the chakras you chose. This works for the meditation, mantra, and bowl modes.
Positives:
• Simple UI (see below on using "set-up")
• beautiful mantras and singing bowls, both with excellent sound quality.
• using "Set up", can select which chakras to include in the rotation. Note: to play continuous loops, do not tap individual chakras; there's a play/pause button at the icon figures right knee.
Negatives:
• Biggest negative: doesn't play in background!
• I love the guides voice on the meditations, but there are background crackles. The content of his meditations is lacking, often obtuse and superficial.
I am very pleased with this app. A must-buy!
poor quality not worth it, free would even be too much!
I think this is a great app! It has the options of guided meditation, ringing bowls and the mantras are incredible. They are very beautiful and you can really feel your chakra stand up and take notice with them. I use it every day!
I like the bowls- you can feel each chakra respond to the sound. It helps you realign yourself quickly. Also, the mantras are sung so beautifully. Some were wondering where the "play all" button is- it's on the bottom left corner. It's little. :-)
... But I wish it had the option to descend through the chakras as well. Thanks for this!
