Report an issueiPowerRocket is an application that allows an amateur rocketeer to perform all the calculations for rocket design and flight planning on his or her iPhone or iPod touch. It includes tools for barrowman CP computation, flight simulation, calculating ejection charges, dimensioning parachutes and a flight log, all in one application.

8 of 15Used to work OK now app developer just shines it on. I will report back when this works again, if ever.
I am very glad to have this app and consider it well worth the cost. I will look forward to the future enhancements that have been promised by the developer though. I wish the documentation/web site included a way to contact the developer. If there were a contact provided, I would ask this question: Is the flight log database information backed up on the user's computer when syncing, or would the information be lost in a device reset?
Great app but wish it had a way to set measurements throughout to either metric or standard. Some of us yanks appreciate standard so we don't have to convert and take up precious time.
Preloaded rocket information is not always correct..Cannot edit flight log..Cannot edit/add engines...Support is severly lacking and updates are non-existant. It is apparantly abandoned-ware..I give it two stars as it was a valiant effort..But for 10 bucks, STAY AWAY...
I like it it just doesn't have flight simulation and I'm bummed about that :(
This is a very useful app for model rocket hobbyists. Rocket designs can be entered via the iPhone and quick performance calculations can be performed. The logbook is also very handy. The latest version fixes all the issues that I had with the earlier releases. Now all we need is native iPad resolution support.
This product is buggy. It incompletely converts only some items to imperial units. stay clear
I bought this to replace software that ran on an old Palm Pilot and to also avoid having to bring my laptop to the field. I work with high school students flying rockets and it's nice to be able to run a sim at the field to make sure the motor choice is correct, etc. The biggest issue I've had so far is entering a rocket design seems too complicated. It would be great to have a single screen to enter all the basic dimensions, and then have the opportunity to edit it further if needed. The sims matched other software I use that runs on laptops and the motor database is current, which is a big plus. If I had the ability to quickly enter a rocket diameter and weight for a fast sim I'd give it five stars. The students I worked with thought it was great to see something that used real 'rocket science' on an iPhone.
