Works Great!

by Gator189 · June 30, 2026

Have been using this system for about a year now and to use my Kobo Clara to read in bed it’s nice when I have a few minutes of down time to open the app on my phone and get some reading in.

Good story

Fun but flawed

by jamin686 · July 5, 2026

As a follow up to Mickey7, Antimatter Blues almost acts as a second episode of sorts. If you dig the world established in the first book, you’ll find more to love here. Unfortunately, the book does exchange its more interesting story ideas with some more generic sci-fi beats. If you disliked a lot of the exposition in the first book, this book may seem more appealing to you. But as a double edged sword, the lack of exposition leads to some more straightforward storytelling, especially in the latter half of the book. The highlight of the book is almost certainly the character of Speaker. Yes, he’s kind of a tropey character who almost feels like a Dobby or a K2SO, but he helps keep the story both fun and perilous.

Great app but confusing payment system

The app is great! Runs nicely, dark mode, nice UI, and also has a dictionary option to look up unknown words!
The only thing is the payment system. From what I can tell, a subscription only covers some books, and not all in its collection. Some ebooks and audiobooks you just have to purchase.

Enjoyable!

I enjoyed this story! There are sort of two stories in this book, just because of the entanglements! Narration was awesome.

Love it

I really enjoy using the Kobo app. It’s really easy and convenient to use.

Over all good

I’ve NEVER been able to use my credits purchasing on my iPhone… Have to use computer to use credits. Additionally, have trouble downloading purchased books to iPhone. Have double checked to make sure there’s enough storage memory left on phone, have signed out and then signed in to app, and have restarted the iPhone… And then without me doing anything it will download. Frustrating. Got a second phone so that I can download on at least one account. Other than this, I quite enjoy the app. They’ve always had the book that I’ve wanted and I’ve never lost any credits through non-use for several months like I did on Audible.
