8 of 21I thought the other railroad game felt like a card game from my childhood, but now I realize that this was that game, and the other game is a pipedream type of clone. This game has a good presentation, but I'm not sure I really like the game. It is a little too stressful, and I think random enough that it often isn't finishable. The timer adds a level of stress to the game that could use a non-random tutorial, or timerless practice mode.
Change the soundtrack you picked the wrong erra. After playing the lite a few times I bought the full verision.
So much to say. This is pretty fun but I wish there was more. I was so into it and it ended and I was dissappointed but I guess it would be worth buying.
Take off the time limit as an option for beginners. Otherwise it's a train-wreck HA HA
Can someone tell me the point to this game?
First you only get 3 random pieces and then it train leaves in like 2 seconds it's just not that good
This game is awesome with full throttle. And I just love it. (Written by my 8 Year old son.)
It seems like it's already on high difficulty by the first level. The frantic search for track pieces (the right one NEVER shows up in time) is in complete contrast to the calm music. Is this meant to be fun with trains, or nerve-grating frustration? There's no real joy to be had here, as even a successful track ends up looking littered and broken. No sense of accomplishment to be had, just derailed trains and the tiny sad plink when you manage to drive near a bit of gold. I'd call it a Sisyphysean task, but even poor Sisyphus had the pleasure of getting the rock nearly to the top each time. I appreciate the fact that at least the developers were kind enough to release a lite version so I didn't feel burned by buying the full game.
