WebMD is a trusted site with credible, clear, and helpful information for me and my family. I appreciate the lack of hyperbole, direct information, and that it doesn’t always have an answer. It reminds me that it’s a resource but not the end-all/be-all for everyday medical issue questions.
I received a security alert that my data may have been breached and was advised to change my password. Sounds reasonable except WebMD’s systems don’t actually work.

This issue has been ongoing since at least mid-2025. Any attempt to update account information results in an endless spinning cog that never completes. I tested this on:
• WebMD’s website (Safari and Firefox)
• The iOS app
• The iPad version of the app

Same result every time. I even let it spin for over 20 minutes with no recovery.

This is clearly a backend issue that has gone unfixed for months. If users can’t update passwords or personal information after a security alert, that’s a serious failure especially for a health-related platform.

There’s no chance I’d consider a paid subscription when basic account security doesn’t function on the free tier.
Do better!
The app will not save my sex! Bug. Please fix. Thanks
It’s not easy to add/ delete meds
An excellent medical site that explains in lay terms medical diagnoses and treatments. The explanations are geared to patients and give information that is aimed at a layperson.
Searched Dr Emily Sheveland, found her; profile is for a Dr Hurt… huh?
