Should work through camera. That would make it great for plumbing utility poles and such

Doesn't hang straight

This simple app appears to be a teaser to get us to go to their website to find how to build iPhone apps.

However, since the plumb Bob doesn't hang straight and there is no way to calibrate it, I'm guessing these guys may not be the best source for "how-to".

Doesn't work as well is the free levels, so I'm deleting it.

i like this one, but really needs a reference line in the middle for checking . . . i wish you could also do an 'i-level' for horizontals . . . thanks a lot . . .

Absolutely pointless without a reference scale. Without it, it is a line that wobbles from one side of your phone to the other. Boring and worthless...could be somewhat useful as a vertical level on a inacurate "hang a picture frame" sort of way with a reference scale, but plumb bobs need to be able to pin point a specific point of reference from a higher level to a lower level such as from ceiling to floor. Having it on your phone serves no useful purpose. Free is too much money for this app. Awesome if you like simple moving things.

Doesn't do the job

I wish I could say nicer things. But it fails in almost every aspect. There's no way to calibrate it. And if you tip it 45° the angle reported isn't even close to that, at 24°, so if it tells you that you're a degree off you're two, at least, and that assumes the initial calibration.

The information page appears to have been written by someone for whom English is a second language. In short, a sloppy, barely alpha level program released as a finished product.
