Needs Tumblr

by Benredmond · February 12, 2010

Okay app. But it needs to come with tumblr. Then it would be five stars.

Devs targeted iOS 4.3*only*, utterly useless for anyone previous.

by Leo of BORG · March 23, 2011

While most devs target iOS 4.1 or 4.2, these guys decided to ONLY target 4.3+.

So I waited over a year and a half from version 1.09 which wasn't stable and unusable with blogger for this?

Ecto (what iBlogger was based on) was abandoned long ago. As were/are their support forums (filled with spam).

I've already moved on in regards to Ecto-- I won't be putting any more time or cred into this software either. *cough* MarsEdit *cough*

Finally update, then won't with my 2nd Gen Touch

by padrentaiwan · April 4, 2011

They finally update with the features it should have had in 1.0 and now it will not work with 2nd gen iPod Touch, positively abysmal support. Not work means it actually say it can't put on iPod Touch, ludicrous for a blogging program.

Not worth it

You'd think a 10 dollar app came with landscape typing mode and auto caps... It's not very blogger friendly. Save your money and find a cheaper app.

Disappointed

by WhatTheresTimeFor · October 31, 2013

This app is useable, but just barely.

- iBlogger PUTS A NOTICE AT THE END OF EACH POST to advertise itself, without asking or informing you and without any way to stop it. In an app of this cost, that is completely unacceptable.

- Pictures are not handled very well, seem to publish differently than they appear in the editor sometimes.

- The editor doesn't do the auto-capitalization that is expected when typing text on the iPhone. This is a huge pain.

There are other annoyances, but those are the main ones. I tried iBlogger because my bogging service's custom app (which was also poor) disappeared from the App Store. Sadly disappointed.

IBlogger doesn't do the trick

by SR Reviewer · October 25, 2010

App really is poorly made and forces every post you make to include a footer that links back the the creators site. Not only that, it only allows you to post 1 picture per post. There are no settings. Would NOT recommend!

Not so great

App Is Broken For SquareSpace

by KStarnes · October 27, 2010

No longer appears to be under development. Help forums are dead -- no new posts, in some cases, for years.

Still can't find a way to report bug.

Despite developer's claims, this app does not work with SquareSpace -- only posts drafts.

I feel like I have been cheated, but should have down my homework before making this purchase.
