Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary, Eleventh Edition

I'd give five stars if it didn't have the watermark. I suggest not buying this expensive app until it is removed, or at least tamed so it is not so obnoxious.

The app is great. Great to have a dictionary of this stature on my phone; it beats carrying a heavy dictionary in my backpack. The pronunciation function does shut the program down at times. Hope Merriam-Webster doesn't follow my advice of re-launching the program when this happens; for $25 it should be better than that. On the flip side, how frequently will most people use the pronunciation function? Less frequent than one may think.

Every time copy something, the last word or sentence I copied ends up in the search field, when I open dictionary

Just updated...what a mistake! There's a really obnoxious logo behind the text that makes it hard to read! Awful design!!

I have been using this application for many years. Generally love it. But the new water mark is absolutely obnoxious. They need to get rid of it.<br/><br/>To concern consumer: I had forgotten this too. Each time they have an update you have to read download the sound module. Pick how many words you want and then download. Remember it takes a long time.

I bought new iPad and i want to install app but i can't without paying again. Was able to reinstall it in my iPhone but not in my new iPad. Please help. Will give five stars if this problem did not happen.

I used to use this dictionary all the time, and now got this update. The obtrusive watermark may well lead me to stop using it... Is there a way to downgrade?! Otherwise this should be about 5 stars. Watermark degrades it to 2 stars. Don't update to this version of the app, if you're in the same position I was in!!
