Turn your iPhone or iPad into a pointer and controller for PowerPoint or Keynote presentations. Has 'Next Slide' and 'Previous Slide' controls, and can show notes from presentations on the iPhone display along with a timer. Pointer icon can easily by replaced by any image, which could be used for humorous purposes. Touch the screen to show the pointer - which is controlled either by dragging your finger around the screen (easy) or by orientation (takes a little practice) - your choice.

Requirements: Computer running Mac OS X 10.7 or higher, WiFi connection (on the same local network or by creating a computer-to-computer network), and PowerPoint or Keynote (choose the program on the back side of the App). Please note that this app cannot control an iPad Keynote presentation.

A small Mac application, PointerServer, must be downloaded to your computer and started whenever Pointer is used. This program is available for free at: http://www.zentropysoftware.com/ZS/Pointer_files/PointerServer3.zip

Please note that the presentation runs on your computer, not directly from the iPhone or iPad. Instead the iPhone/iPad controls the computer.

A support e-mail address is listed at the support web site.

To install apps directly onto this device, it must be jailbroken with AppSync installed.

Money and time wasted

by PoorCindy · September 12, 2013

Wish I had read the reviews. This doesn't work. Their claims need to be accompanied by all the things you need to do for it to possibly work. And also,y computer said the developer was questionable. Is there a refund process. This was a rip-off.

Not any better than the Apple Keynote remote

Better off with the keynote remote in terms of functionality.

Waste of Money! Does not work!

by allim10 · October 31, 2012

While it was easy to pair my computer and iPhone, when you actually try to control the presentations, the application constantly freezes up. Never got it to work!

Don`t buy

Would Be Nice If It Worked

by Fujchdysfinogudg · March 1, 2015

I got everything ready to start but the app is unresponsive so I can't do it

Old software

by Outadollar · November 15, 2014

Does not work. Product apparently not updated with Apple updates over the years. I write this in November 2014. Note other comments go back several years. No response from support. I tried with MacBook Pro and iPhone 5
