8 of 25Removing and crippling the main functionality with an unannounced update is unprincipled. I would never trust such an underhanded developer.
Sadly, the 2 minute limit makes this app useless. there are OTHER VNC apps out there, I suggest you look for one. This guy is just greedy.
App now introduces a 2 minute for free version. I was doing to upgrade to full version, but they have lost my business with their sneakiness.
1. Provide a useful but function-limited lite product. 2. Gain users' trust, then stealthily disable lite product. 3. Watch former users search for a different developer to give money to.
Since they changed it to a 2 min limit I have deleted the app, downloaded real vnc app.
If you are not an IT professional good luck sorting through this maze of passwords, protocols, IP addresses, and menu upon menu upon confusing menu. It might also help to be able to reverse engineer what appears to be some kind of translation error in some of the instructions. I ended up feeling like my computer was going to be accessible by who knows who, but certainly not by me.
You've just updated your lite app off my iPad. Free VNC clients abound for various platforms, so you'll not get a $5.99 upgrade from me. Good luck.
Was looking for something like this pretty straightforward. Thanks
