Report an issueMolecules is an application for viewing three-dimensional renderings of molecules and manipulating them using your fingers. You can rotate the molecules by moving your finger across the display, zoom in or out by using two-finger pinch gestures, or pan the molecule by moving two fingers across the screen at once. These structures can be viewed in both ball-and-stick and spacefilling visualization modes.
Molecules can be stored on your handheld device for later viewing and are loaded via a standard document-based file browser.
Custom molecular structures can be downloaded to the application via file sharing or iCloud, and obtained via sources like the RCSB Protein Data Bank (http://www.rcsb.org/pdb), an international repository of biological molecules and their 3-D structures, or NCBI's PubChem (http://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov), a public database of compounds. No iOS 7 support and no iPhone 5 support. Cool app but it doesn't fit in with my iPhone 5 running iOS7. Please update!
Old, outdated and crashy with poor UI design and very limited functionality.

I have used this app for a couple years to show 3-D structures of basic molecules like water, glucose, DNA to my middle and high school science students. It was great! Today I tried to use it and my library if molecules has disappeared and when I search using common names like DNA or glucose I get a list of bizarre chemical formulas I am so sad as I will now need to get another app before my next class today.
Super cool. Easy to use. Awesome app!
There seems to be no documentation. I’d like to be able to build a simple molecule, find its shape and judge its polarity. No way to do any of this that I can find. Perhaps it’s intended for something else, but no way to know. Another take-it-as-is-or- leave-it item on the App Store.
The app crashes every time I try to search the protein databank.
