I tried the newer version and did not care for it. This version reigns supreme!!! I hope they keep supporting it!
The app works great for me. The articles update regularly and contain pictures. I didn't know there was another version, but I really like this one!
My main news source. Most breaking news hits here first aside from international stories where I have news apps from those countries.

video quality is horrible and what is being presented as news and fact seem more like emotioinally delivered opinion. <br/><br/>sad as the ap wire was once a trusted source for fact - not opinion or spin (which is what most news is these days). i cant recall when i last heard the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth from a news agency. i think it was the fall of 1962 or spring of 63 - and, thats probably a stretch
AP App is unstable on my mini iPad 2. It repeatedly closes and exits, while I am attempting to open new news articles. This has occurred, now, for several months. So, I have deleted it from my pad.
This was a great app until the latest update. Now it won't complete loading on my iPad 2 with current ios
