Bank of America Mobile Banking

Deposits no longer work for the iPhone mini. I’ve talked to Bank of America support and there’s nothing they will do. It’s just bricked.

I don’t know why this app gets such great reviews. It is not at all user friendly. I’ve never had an app so frustrating to use. It’s total garbage.

There is no option to initiate ACH transactions (both deposits and withdrawals) in this mobile app.

I have been experiencing a blank screen when I log into the mobile app in my iPhone 17, running the latest IOS. This has been going on for months. BofA support basically told me to uninstall the app, restart my iPhone and then reinstall the app. I’ve done this multiple times and it works for a while and then back to a blank screen upon logging in. It’s disgraceful for one of the largest banks in the world, with all its resources, to have an unreliable app on the most popular phone platform in the world. Keep this up and I’m moving my money to another institution that has a reliable app.

I work in Alaska so having the Alaska airlines card makes my life significantly more comfortable with the rewards status, but otherwise I would not use Bank of America because of this app. Like most people, I primarily use apps for my banking needs, and this one is slow and feels ad-heavy. I don’t want to be told about your other products on the login page if it’s going to make the page take 30 extra seconds to load when other bank apps take 5, and I don’t want your AI assistant to be the only way to clear notifications when it takes more than 90 seconds to load, if it loads at all. I don’t need an AI assistant at all, but I certainly don’t want one that’s integral to the interface. When I signed up for the card, BofA had several account deals that I considered, but because of how clunky the app is I chose to take the rest of my banking elsewhere.

Disappointed that when you upgrade the app and its features, those with older technology are left, somewhat, by the roadside.<br/><br/>One would think that you would realize that you have a large base of fixed income, seniors that are customers and we do not run out and purchase the “latest and greatest” tech when it comes on the market.<br/><br/>Why should I upgrade my phone for a few apps when it still works as a phone?
