8 of 25I really need an alternative to MobileMe gallery with 3 criteria points in mind, 1) easy gallery/album mgmt, 2) album sharing, 3) good mobile application. As a developer I find your layout of the website cumbersome but usable and the mobile app UI, usage and flow Very illogical. If it was not for the PhotoSync app I would have eaten my SmugMug subscription and moved away. I appreciate the upgrades, but the effort is not enough. I would ask that the layout, usage flow and end result of the SmugMug app be rethought. Please read the reviews of this app. I may be better not to create a mobile app at all if it is not used. Very limiting but for what it does the Sync from Apple to MobileMe was seamless and the Gallerys are very simple yet functional. Try not to be everything to everybody. The shotgun approach to adding incomplete features do not work. Sorry for being harsh, but as a developer Im trying to get a point across to your development team.
Although this app is free, it really is of limited value for the time being. I love SmugMug and their service is excellent, I hope they put their passion into improving this app. If you're reading this, I'd suggest installing the app (so you've got it) and waiting for the inevitable upgrades to make it worth using.
This app needs alot of work. Im new to SmugMug which I truly love, but this app..just doesnt work. Cant see already uploaded galleries. Only can add from your phone galleries.
This is good for uploading to preexisting galleries, but it needs more features like being able to create a gallery from the app, email links from that app, and the ability to view your galleries from within the app. Please add these features!
Not sure what the purpose of the app is if you can't create a new album on the fly.
This app BLOWS! Just got rid of it. I'm a dedicated SM user and this app is horrible and not user friendly!!!
I downloaded this to get the 50% off a new account. I was able to upload a few pictures with it. Since that first upload I can't upload any more pictures with this app and it tells me I have no photos in my galleries when I know I do. Very buggy app.
I am a huge fan and Pro user of SM. But this app is no where near the level of a SM product. The IPad app is far better. I usually never even use this anymore on iPhone as it is better to use Safari and go to my web page for everything. Please update this to the same level as iPad at least.
