8 of 25My sons wanted to use my subscription for their studies on their iPads and it’s just not working. The app developer promised to honor Family Sharing. But they don’t. Don’t say you were not warned.
It works as described, has some issues like any other software but it is better than MOST if not ALL like it in the Apple Store! Gets the job done
The point isn’t that its cheap you deaf tone dev, the point is that I don’t feel like I actually own the software because if it is a bit over a dollar a month, I still am just leasing the software for a basic terminal. Let me buy it so then you can make improvements and then let me buy blink 2 or 3 or 4. Not an SaaS for a flipping terminal i may use once or twice a month
Do not use this if you are already to usual shell behavior from other applications or from a traditional desktop command line. And since you *don’t* have the opportunity to even try the application without accepting a pending purchase, let that serve as a sign that this isn’t the product for you. I tried blink because I was having paste issues with one or two competing products. It might seem clever to avoid traditional GUI controls in favor of keyboard shortcuts, but it doesn’t work in practice. I’m in the middle of production server support, and I’ve already spent too much time trying to figure out how to make this product work. It’s bad enough to charge a recurring yearly fee for a shell application based on GPL code, but to make an unusable product in the process is a step too far. Uninstalling and requesting a refund.
This has been so easy to use, and I can’t believe the features that it offers! I’m not sure how this could have less than four stars on average!!!
The second you open the app you get blasted to start a trial. Like how disconnected from reality are you as a dev? Offering lifetime and no honoring it is crazy.
Can’t restore blink classic on new device.
The tool literally forces you to enter their trail for their paid version or upgrade to it. COMPLETELY USELESS APP unless you are looking for a gateway to a paid product. Use anything else. Companies that operate this way should be punished.
