Report an issueAshworld is an open world survival adventure set in a post apocalyptic world a few hundred years from now. Water and food are valuable, rare and the most important things you'll have to find, as you try to survive in the rage-lands. An area of the world terrorized by the Ragers. A stereotypical group of road-warriors with no respect for the little life that's left.
During the night creatures, called the Skellies, roam the world and are becoming more dangerous as time passes.
Use your smarts, combined with the various weapons, cars, gadgets and raw materials that can be found inside the many underground area's, buildings, old sky-scrapers, and other area's of the Ashworld.
QUICK list of FEATURES: - Procedurally generated gameplay (no 2 games are the same) - Modifiable touch-controls (check options menu!!) - Run and drive around the ragelands, visiting buildings, talking to people, beating up ragers and skellies. - Use different weapons: boomerangs, chainsaws, rocket launcher, shotgun, machinegun, plasma rifle, flame thrower. - Search through buildings, underground cavern's, and unexplored area's of the Ashworld for usable items. - Find,Steal and drive a variation of different cars, all with their quirks and challenges. - A host of story missions and sub-missions to guide you around the world. - Craft new weapons and tools - Gain experience points and use them to improve your character skills

8 of 25Love the concept and open world. However there are a number of severely limiting issues for small screen (iPhone) devices. 1) Controls can be frustratingly poor and unresponsive / delayed, especially inside buildings. You can mash on the jump button and response is either delayed (making timing movement across moving platforms impossible) or triggers shooting instead. 2) Graphics when inside buildings on an iPhone screen are so blocky that you are unable to see the layout easily (especially in radiated buildings) or distinguish enemies from obstacles. I love retro graphics, but there is a balance that needs to be maintained. 3) Stability of world: approx 17 game days in, all buildings and dungeons disappear. This happened on multiple tries / resets and results in there being NOTHING to interact with. Incredibly frustrating when taken in conjunction with issues 1 & 2.
By the reviews others gave it and the rankings in the app store, I thought this game was going to be a lot of fun. It wasn't. The controls are poorly thought out and the game play isn't that great. Sure you can do what the game promises, explore the wasteland and either follow the story or not. This game didn’t grab my attention. I wish I could get a refund.
Pre-face: I will update this once the issues are resolved. Awesome game so far, I first learned of this game through YouTube and was estatic to see an IPad release. It’s an awesome Mad Max style 2D RPG. Totally my type of game... But 5 minutes into the game and I’ve already found a bug causing my game to crash every time. The second tier loot skill with the bullet and a + next to it crashes every time I click on it. I’ve tested this 10 times so far with the same result. I know this is a new release and I’m hoping it will be fixed as the game is updated, and when it is I will certainly change my review to better reflect Ashworld.
Patch please .. I love this game but I can’t continue a mission if the mission items aren’t appearing to me ... I’m stuck on the motherboard gathering quest .. and for some reason my dog is gone lol ?? Guys this product deserves a 5 , please do it justice and I’ll change my rate to 5 Update . I’m pretty sure one person you guys could care less about but I really am about to ask for my money back .. I don’t know what you guys did with this update but the game still has many issues .. yes it’s the mobile version but don advertise your game heavily to the point it’s on the front page for a bit and not work on it, gaming companies indie or not are successful because they listen ... we actually like this game but I’m giving it until the end of the month, if nothing significant changes between now and then I’m getting my refund :/ ... I bet this game still hasn’t been fixed huh wow I wrote this so long ago .. I assume you all still don’t care about this game on mobile ?
Awesome concept. Future updates will make this game great.
when i read the recomendation it got on the app store, it sounded like a fun game A madmax inspired sandbox survival rougelike. What could go wrong. a lot, first, its not fun, when the game opens you start with a car its hard to control, easy to break, and keeps runing out of fule half way to the objective. when you get to the compound, you are given a series of quests, if you enter any of the buildings, you risk being stuck at the botom of them because.... they are either too high up (this is even more anoying because of the infuriatingly bad controlls), or, my favorite, the time i was stuck because there was a locked cabinet at the place i had to jump and every time i tryed to jump it told me the cabinet was locked, because the jump button is the same as the interact buttom. and this was game of the day. i bought it because of the app store recomendation and the atached article where they said how great it was i dont mind bad games. i just dont want them to get 3 paragraphs of priase from apple
Unfortunately I’m unable to find out whether or not I enjoy this game, since it’s proven impossible for me to get more than 5 minutes in without a crash resulting in my having to start all over. Frustrating for a featured game on the App Store to be so unstable. Looking forward to the devs working on this...
Some quests are buggy such as buying info for a idol it just points you towards a garage with nothing to do with the idol.Another quest with problems is the motherboard quest where you need to find the portals ,but there impossible to find and you can’t buy info for them. But overall progression and missions are great.
