Report an issueThe year is 1884 and Victorian London is ready for the greatest Adventure ever told.
A wonderfully whimsical Point and Click game - A Bleaker Predicklement is a story driven detective adventure with over 60 scenes. Can you solve the puzzles and help Bertram Fiddle finally track down the despicable Geoff the Murderer?
Explore dark alleys, talk to suspicious characters, uncover the evil plot that threatens Victorian London in this comedy murder mystery like no other.
A beautifully animated Adventure Game, fully Voice Acted and filled to the brim with gloriously detailed artwork and terrible, terrible puns. Inspired by Hammer Horror, Sherlock Holmes, Dickens and Monty Python, it may be the most British game ever!
"A Bleaker Predicklement is the greatest adventure of 1884" - The Evening Burble
"The game has done a perfectly Adequate job capturing the charm of the first game, only on a much bigger scale. As I unlock more of the story, I’m continually surprised and delighted." - Appunwrapper.com
"If you enjoy puzzlers, this is definitely for you. The quirky voices and music fit the game perfectly, but the most noticeable thing is Bertram's strange nose - I'm assuming it's this large nose that helps him sniff out the clues." - Oksana Ryan, Pocketgamer.co.uk

8 of 15This is one of the best games I’ve had the chance to play. Engaging, difficult at times and lots of fun.
At 22 I still go back and play this game, the story and illustration is so incredibly well done. It’s a fun game for any age and i hope that they will make more in the future!
This game constantly freezes and makes it impossible to use clues. Definitely would be good if bugs were fixed but impossible now.
I think there is a bug near the end of chapter 6. Once I’ve taken the boat back to the soap factory, I can’t return to area that I left, and there is no way to exit the soap factory. I’m stuck, and it’s preventing me from completing the game.
Every time I go into the bakery and touch the oven dial the game crashes. How very disappointing.
I love the game and all its quirks, but it really buggy when I tried to open up my inventory, it wouldn’t let me most of the time and when it did it would close quickly afterwards. Every time I presses on the button to open it never would, only a lucky few times it actually would. Another thing about the inventory, when I clicked on it, it either thought I was clicking on someone to talk to, or some where to walk to and in some cases it exited out of the room, because of where it was placed. But besides that it’s a really fantastic game and I love the thought of Sherlock Holmes, being all different than what we viewed of him before. Most of the time the game runs smoothly minus the inventory, but it was such smooth animation! I love it! It’s hard to find a game like this and I’m glad I found it, this is a game I would recommend! Played this in Jan 2021 on an iPad Air 3 and had no problems with crashing or bugs. It’s a fun point and click; I would buy a 3rd Bertram Fiddle in a heartbeat! The perfect difficulty level. Highly recommended.
Despite the bugs with the characters main audio getting cut off despite the subtitles, hard time getting in to some places, I still quite enjoyed it regardless of the bugs. 🙂 Hopefully the next update will take care of these pesky bugs. Or at least fix anymore bugs for the future episode 3 of Bertram fiddle. The game is pretty funny, full of good puzzles, good mysteries, and very family friendly. I hope the series will continue and bring more smiles in the future. 🙂👍🏻 To those who read this- Fair warning for bugs: The pulley system in the kitchen in chapter 5, and getting through dullswarth’s secret passageway to get Inside of the factory.
