Pretty good

by Jeregami27 · June 30, 2019

I’ve played all of the tof games and I’d have to say that this one is pretty good. It’s more complex than the first two with a lot more things to do. There are many different kinds of side quests that you can do as well.

Feels unfair

Hard as nails, the rogue elements are very punitive. DO NOT SPEND YOUR OWN MONEY.

Needs update for newer iOS

I would give this app 5 stars, but it never saves. It always restarts when I come back to it like it needs an update or something

Why the skill final damage received always-2 even upgraded to level 3

Fantastic and Hooked!

I must say, this game is beautiful stylistically. It’s simplistic, yet exquisite. As for the mechanics, they’re very straightforward yet so abstract. But don’t be fooled- there is more than one way to play this game. You can spin randomly.. but is there a better way? I’ll leave that for you all to figure out! :)

ToF forever! I love a simple slot rpg tbh

Like ToF is the only game i can find in the genre tbh. It’s interesting due to the fact that you have to balance your respins with your health and rewards. That’s honestly enough to keep me hooked, and i’ve played through 1 and 2 completely. 3 seems like it has more ends, and i’m trying to get all of them currently. I’ve been an on and off fan of the series for about 6 years, but i’m still really hoping for a ToF4 tbh

Ever a fan

Really enjoyed my time with Game Stew games. Been a fan for years.

Ignore the casual scrubs

This is what I’ve been looking for on iOS for quite a while now. There’s actually a ridiculous amount of content, and I’ll admit the game is pretty rough under level 10. But once you’ve played for like half an hour and you’re level 10 there’s just so much to do. Every world has unique events, bosses, some even have allies you can get. And the best part is there’s no over complication like in other turn based games “you can use this attack when at 32 hp if your character is 6 foot tall on a Sunday”. While the combat is Rng you can remove a lot of that through rerolling through a small exponential gold fee (50-100-200-400 etc which resets after every turn). My favorite part about this besides the simplistic style and combat, is the reset system. Whenever you’ve finished a world of you enter it again on the same character you enter a ng+ sort of world where everything is stronger and you can fight the enemies again to get different piece of gear from them than your previous play through. Of course I see a lot of people complaining about dying. But this game handles that mechanic extremely well. When you die you keep your level and gold (thank god I would hate this game if I had to grind back up to level 40) in all reality what this means is “oh no I lost my gear let me just go smash world x to pick up my gear again then move onto the world I was on when I died”. It’s actually fairly difficult to die in combat in this game due to the revival potions for 450 g each which you can carry 9 of ( revives you at full health during battle when reaching 0 ) my first actual death was attempting to look at the mystical being around level 35 which took about 10 minutes of killing bosses in the previous world to get my gear back and I was all good. In conclusion, 10/10 game design would recommend to anyone who loves rogue likes ignore all those casual scrubs “Waaaaah I lost my gear to a boss that was way stronger than me waaaah”
