Report an issueTrackers follow you everywhere — in apps, browsers, and emails — building profiles that advertisers and data brokers sell, and AI-powered attackers weaponize. PrivacyPro blocks them, encrypts your connections, and gives you total control over what companies get your data.
HOW IT WORKS PrivacyPro uses SmartVPN technology — a focused tunnel that targets the unencrypted connections most likely to leak your data, without rerouting the ones that don't need it. Known tracker domains are prevented from loading. Unencrypted HTTP traffic gets encrypted before it leaves your device, so it's safe even on untrusted networks. DNS lookups are encrypted so your ISP, carrier, and Wi-Fi network can't see what sites and apps you're using. — Blocks trackers at the DNS layer in every app and browser — Encrypts your HTTP traffic in transit, protecting in-app data and background requests — Encrypts every DNS lookup so your ISP and Wi-Fi network can't snoop — Leaves your HTTPS traffic alone, so the connections that are already secure stay fast
WHY SMARTVPN, NOT A REGULAR VPN
A typical VPN reroutes everything through a remote server, slowing your connection, breaking some sites, and changing your IP whether or not it matters. SmartVPN only encrypts the traffic that actually needs encryption — HTTP and DNS. HTTPS traffic passes through normally. The result is privacy without the friction. FREE
— Device-wide tracker blocking, always on — Real-time list of trackers trying to collect your data — Stats dashboard: see what was blocked, on which sites, plus time and data saved
PREMIUM
Everything in Free, plus: — Firewall: block any domain on your own terms — HTTP traffic encrypted in transit to protect sensitive data on insecure networks — DNS lookups encrypted through our tunnel — Bulk import/export of firewall rules
WHY DISCONNECT
— No logs. We don't see, store, or sell your data. Ever. — Full control. Block or allow any tracker. — Built by Disconnect, the industry standard for tracker protection. Our technology powers tracker blocking in Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge to help protect 350M+ users worldwide. — Awards: SXSW Interactive Innovation Award (Privacy & Security), Popular Science Best of What's New, The New York Times' favorite privacy app.
ONCE ON, IT STAYS ON
Connect once and PrivacyPro runs in the background. Reconnects automatically when you switch networks. Close the app and use your device normally, protection stays active.

8 of 25First problem in years and developer responded quickly-thank you!
Get this, over 1 month I’ve saved 40 min of load time and 1.4 GB. Better yet, since I’ve had the app I’ve saved 5 hrs of load time and 10.5 GB of data. And google has less to know about me so that’s always better, get this app you won’t be disappointed. Oh except you can’t click the Ads on the first results from google, it will be blocked, but the regular result is there below and works just fine.
2023-02-12: Nags for reviews. All apps that nag get a one star review. No exceptions. 2019-11-27 Update: App started blocking Facebook.com on its own. No I didn’t block it manually. Yes, I am absolutely sure. Saw it was being blocked in the logs & for the Facebook.com entry in the block list, it showed a “last updated” date of “Never”. History just plain stops working. Randomly. VPN always shows as on but if it’s not collecting history — what else isn’t it doing? Turning blocking off then back on in the app fixes the issue but I don’t trust the app enough to put $ into the paid version.
Very nice very cool make happi not sad
I don’t like being exposed. Wish I could block cookies within this app though.
I’ve been using Privacy Pro for years and thought it was great. Then three months ago I got locked out of my Apple ID on all my devices and my iPhone and my iPad would each tell me to use the other to log in. After a conversation with Apple Support they blamed my VPN. I disabled Privacy Pro and all was good (except that I was forced to change my password and all my app passwords). And with all the debug I want sure that was the magic step. After three months I decided to try Privacy Pro again, just on my iPhone, and see if the problems were fixed. I turned it on yesterday, and today I’m again locked out of all my devices (not just my iPhone). Turn off Privacy Pro, reset all the devices and passwords, and I’m running again. I’ve never had an app fail so spectacularly. I’m not going through that again.
In the past week I cannot access AOL (mail or website) or use links from Twitter to access any website on my iPad. Is there an update coming, or is the adblocker being “managed” by those websites? Thx, Jay! Removing and reinstalling app fixed problems!
This app actually blocks ads
