SimplyPiano is great and it really helps you to learn that there is a problem with it hearing individual keys and notes when having played at the same time with the cords and because of that it’s sometimes very frustrating to play when it doesn’t understand what you’re playing and still that’s wrong. But apart from that, SimplyPiano is great and I would recommend.l It needs to fix the hearing for both keys, especially during intermediate lessons, it is very difficult to do a lesson when the app isn’t catching both notes that I’m playing at a time

This will keep me busy for hours and I hate piano. Also definitely think about getting Simply Draw and Simply Sing!

Disclaimer: this review is about the good and bad of simply piano and may be outdated: Simply piano is a app about learning the piano fast, they explain in ads how it’s free, and very good for learning, I didn’t buy the full version i wanted to test it out first as someone who takes real piano lessons. The songs I was given were “how far I’ll go” from Moana, and the SpongeBob theme song, I knew it was just tester songs but it was terrible, all I did was press notes every few seconds, i didn’t actually learn the song, if you try playing without the background music it sounds awkward and no one would notice what song your playing. The app also doesn’t teach you well on hand posture, and there’s more things I can critique, like the false advertising, but I think you get the idea

So my 8 year old daughter was always in her room bored she needed a hobby,i thought violin,nope i asked she Said “at school we got to try it in music it was borning” so i thought piano classes,i look at piano classes they were teeny but exspensive so i thought app and i saw this one was great i set it all up buy a Keyboard for her *small one to put on her desk* she calls me twenty minutes later i see the 12 month payment TOO EXSPENSIVE i mean like 297$ A MONTH? LOWER THE DANG PRICE,OR MAKE IT NO PAYMENT AL ALL,NOW MY DAUGHTER IS BACK TO LAYING ON HER BED BORED AND WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THE KEYBOARD NOW HUH,NO RETURN POLICY. ✞•𝙵𝙾𝙻𝙺𝙻𝙾𝚁𝙴•✞

This is so bad I can play the Linus and Lucia and it’s making me do the little mermaid. Also, my house is practically crossed from the beauty and the beast and now it’s going to make me do it so I can’t play that song. Goodbye.

Ok so I got this to help me play unsimplified your new home (from tadc) and it shows me how to play super simplified Beethoven which I can play Un simplified and then it tries to make me spend 18 DOLLARS A MONTH TO LEARN THAT A SONG I CAN ALREADY PLAY also 18 dollars is for A SINGLE INDIVIDUAL, don’t download this app unless it’s literally your first time playing, then delete it immediately after it makes you spend money.

My 6 year old loves piano but was getting board with books and had a hard time keeping focused. He loves this app, he loves the games and loves that they are using songs he knows. Things I wish I could change: You cannot change the songs in the lessons. For example if I don’t want my kids learning certain pop songs I can’t change the song. I wish there were more Disney songs, Bluey or Pokémon. I cannot change the speed of the songs. My son has said several times he wants it slower so he can learn it better. Overall good app will keep using with hopefully some updates in the future.
