Special tribes are fun on their own, but including them as side AIs in a multiplayer game completely imbalances it. I don’t know why they changed it so special tribes couldn’t be excluded anymore.
I know I’m beating a dead horse here, but I am just so turned off from the game purely because of the sheer advantage that Cymanti has over every other tribe. I’ve played the game for years, even before any of the tribe expansions and Cymanti has been the reason I quit over and over again. No matter how many changes or reworks done, they always come out on top and that is represented by the matches you get that are Cymanti 80% of the time. No matter what tribe you chose, no matter how perfect you play, it always comes down to map luck when facing Cymanti. If you can’t win by like turn 7, the game is over. Would it be so hard to add a matchmaking option to where you can “avoid” playing other tribes? The game is a blast while playing any other tribe and takes tons of predictions and strategy. Against Cymanti, they just have to drop a beetle on your face and there isn’t much you can do about it. I gave the game another chance today after months like I always do and what do ya know, Cymanti is my first opponent. I instantly remembered why I quit last time. Just please change something to where I don’t have to play them anymore. Maybe the playerbase will come back.
Great game when it came out. I’ve been a loyal player since many years. I spent money purchasing every tribe on my Android and guess what - I lost all of those purchases after switching to iOS. Also, this new business model of selling skins is just shoddy work. I would think they would get a different game play, new tribes etc. Guess the developer now is just chasing quick $$.
This game is awesome. Super fun to play. The only thing its missing: more content! More maps, more creative mode settings, more skill trees, more unit types, etc. I understand that adding more means it’s trickier to balance. To the developer - can we expect consistent updates with new content?
It’s too addictive but it’s such a good game
Been playing this game for years and, I prefer to play solo against the AI. Unfortunately, each update unbalances the game further. After the last one, the AI is so hyper aggressive that tribes are being eliminated within 16 turns. This gives me no time to gather resources and defeat all 6 tribes for the maximum score. As the years have gone by, the developers have programmed the AI to cheat! Tribes spawn super units early in the game when they couldn’t possibly have the resources needed to do so. In one game I played today, a tribe spawned 2 super units in the first 10 moves without using up any of the resources around it. Truly unbelievable!! You can now take it for granted that the one unit needed to block your move or defeat you will be waiting hidden every single time. Underpowered AI units take out your full strength units regularly. It’s obvious the randomness of the game has been eliminated and that it’s clearly rigged against you. And, this is all in Normal mode!! I see no point in playing the game in Hard mode, given this level of imbalance. Shame on the developers for stooping so low and marring what used to be a wonderful game! Oh, in response to your lame reply from 3 years ago, which clearly is an attempt to deflect poor choices or incompetence on your part. The players that find it too easy can play in harder modes. That’s what they are there for, I assume. Everything I’ve written above is about Normal Mode. Thanks for the years of previous enjoyment but now, I’m out.
i play with Turn end confirm on and i accidently hit the Finish game button early and it ruined my weekly game ranked game score. please fix it so the the Turn End Conformation window still appears when its the last turn.
